Richard the founder, started selling wood burning stoves with his late father more than 30 years ago and using his vast experience of stoves and wood he has been able to create Hudson's Stoves offering a completely new experience to the public.

At 14 years old, Richard Hudson started selling wood burning stoves on Saturday mornings for his father’s business during the early 1980’s. Even at this young age, his entrepreneurial spirit was already showing when he led the business to start fitting the stoves he had sold.
A career spanning ten years in the recycling and sustainability business led to Richard setting up a group of complimentary companies in 2013: Hudson’s stoves, Hudson Biofuel and Bioheating. The focus is on alternatives to fossil fuels and efficient heat generation through domestic and commercial biomass boilers and woodburning stoves.
Richard says “My dream is to provide a solution to each company or home that will save them money, look after the environment, and provide it with style. With the fantastic government incentives, this offers everyone the opportunity to enjoy sustainable heating at an affordable cost.
